That person is me. I realize the war we are in and whether people want to admit it or not, those techniques do work and no you will not get the same results from some pansy method of quiet interrogation. If we contemplate the loss of life in war and look at the American lives that may be spared with this harsh interrogation than we may forgive the system that looks so brutal. I am a supporter of the "what ever it takes" method. We will sit there and put a man to death for murder here in the United States for supposed detterence, yet get squimish over masking some men around naked with dog chains--isn't taht a little hypocritical? The "enemy" favors cutting a man's head off with a knife and yet we boo the United States for harsh methods? Come on people--really now, if you can't stomach it turn your head and look away.
